- Registrants who select both a half-day morning and half-day afternoon workshop should be charged for the full conference day. Unfortunately there is no “early bird” pricing for attending one half-day workshop. Registrants taking a morning and afternoon workshop pay full-day conference fees and can take advantage of the discount.
- Please be sure to take note of the location of your workshop. Workshops are located at our host school (Pembina Trails Collegiate) and various satellite locations around Winnipeg including the WAG-Qaumajuk, Martha Street Studio, Open Concept Yoga Studio, Living Prairie Museum, R. A. Steen Community Centre, St. Norbert Collegiate, etc. Three workshops will be held fully or partially outdoors. One workshop is not wheelchair accessible.
- All spots are only available with pre-registration and must be reserved ahead of time; sorry - there will be NO WALK-UP / on-site registration available at ANY of the workshops. If you are registering with a friend or a team, register early to avoid disappointment!
- Lunch is not included in the sessions, however, the MAAE encourages opportunities to meet with other teachers for sharing and socializing, so all full day sessions include a 90 minute lunch break - you can choose to bring a lunch, make art through your lunch hour, or head out to a local eatery to hang out with your colleagues.
- Most workshops have a “studio fee” in addition to the conference registration fee to cover art materials you will consume in the workshop , and any preparation of supplies done by the instructor. This means that the daily rate for workshops can range significantly, depending on the workshop selected.
